INSPECTION: By S.G.S. or equivalent at loading port on Seller’s account.
QUANTITY: 100,000 MT (+/- 5 %)
SHIPMENT: Shipment within 30 days after receipt and verification of Buyer’s financial instrument.
DESTINATION: To be nominated
PRICE: United States of America Dollars per Metric Ton) C&F Main Indian Ports
PAYMENT: By One Irrevocable, Documentary Letter of Credit issued or confirmed by a Prime Western Bank, acceptable by the Seller’s Bank and payable 100 % at sight against shipping documents.
GUARANTEES: 2 % (two percent) of the total contract value to activate the Buyer’s financial instrument.
DOCUMENTS: Full international standard set accepted.
PROCEDURE:
1. Buyer accepts the terms of this FCO by returning it to the Seller duly signed and sealed along with Soft Comfort Letter from the Buyer’s bank confirming its ability to purchase this commodity.
2. Seller issues the contract for mutual consideration.
3. Signature of the contract by the both parties.
4. Buyer’s bank issues Non-operative L/C.
5. Seller’s bank issues the PB, which activates buyer’s financial instrument.
6. Shipments commence in strict compliance with the contract terms.
VALIDITY : This FCO is valid 5 banking days from its issuing date.
